The Gist Kinsman Ranch is located South of George West, TX, approximately 1 hour South of San Antonio. This ranch is well-known to produce beautiful South Texas “typical” bucks. Over 2 decades of intense management practices have yielded a reputation for big South Texas deer that is second to none. The topography on the ranch is made up of some of the most unique habitat in South Texas from rolling hills to the classic South Texas brush country. The GKR pairs luxury accommodations with the sought after classic South Texas hunting experience. The 4,000 square foot lodge is a beautiful retreat after at the end of the day and can accommodate moderately sized groups with 4 private bedrooms, private bathrooms along with an upstairs bunk room that is perfect for corporate or family groups. We guarantee that when you hunt with us at the GKR you will be comfortable. This ranch is nothing short of first class, from the deer blinds to the lodging. We have 15-20 trophy bucks available on this ranch each year. These hunts take place October- January. We recommend booking early due to limited availability. Airport transportation from Corpus Christi Airport and executive airports in the area is available.
